About Our MD
Mr. Natarajan Ramamoorthy is the Managing Director of EGS Computers India Pvt. Ltd., a leading engineering and Digitalization solutions company established in 1993 as an extension of EGS Incorporated, USA.
With a strong foundation built during his tenure at Ford Motor Company, USA, he brought world-class experience in automotive engineering, product design, and quality leadership to India. EGS Incorporated, founded in 1981 in Michigan, USA, has served as a Tier-1 design and engineering supplier to major global automotive manufacturers, including Ford, General Motors, Delphi, and Bosch, contributing to iconic vehicle programs such as the Ford Mustang, Ford Thunderbird, Ford Taurus, Ford Ranger, Ford F-150 Series, Lincoln Mark 8, and GM Saturn. This global legacy forms the technical backbone of EGS India’s engineering expertise.
Under Mr. Natarajan’s leadership, EGS India has become a trusted engineering partner for automotive, manufacturing, and medical device industries, delivering advanced solutions in Quality Engineering, Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), Monte Carlo Simulations, APQP & PPAP implementation, engineering design support, and digital quality & document management systems. The company has guided major Tier-1 suppliers in India and supported medical device manufacturers with FDA compliance, risk management, and quality system modernization. To extend high-quality engineering services across India, he expanded EGS India’s presence to Coimbatore and Trichy, enabling PAN-India delivery capability.
Recognizing early the importance of software-driven quality, he led the company into developing platforms for PLM, QMS, and DMS, establishing EGS India as a strong player in engineering and software integration. With decades of experience and firsthand awareness of the limitations of manual, spreadsheet-driven quality processes, Mr. Natarajan envisioned a transformative approach to quality, resulting in the creation of the Live! brand with its flagship platform Live!QC Tools.
